14 DAY TRIAL // Google updated the beta channel for Chrome browser, incrementing the version number to 27.0.1453.56. The fresh release is available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame).
One of the most significant changes refers to a bug that interfered with Omnibox working properly in keyword mode. The component should now demote navigations suggestions in favor of keyword query results, when one of the defined keywords is detected in the address bar.
What the bug did was to disrupt the keyword mode when the search string would match the prefix of domain in the navigation history. The glitch would occur on Windows and Mac systems.
