Chrome development is firing on all cylinders as always. The beta channel has just been updated so it's now time for the dev channel to get a new version of the popular browser.

Google Chrome 21.0.1180.11 dev is available now for the more adventurous users that don't mind the occasional bug if it means they get to play with new feature well ahead of everyone else.

Chrome 21 is getting ready to make the big jump to the beta channel, so there aren't that many big changes, not that there usually are in these incremental updates.

There's a new version of the V8 JavaScript engine, 3.11.10.12 for who's keeping track at home, as well as several crash fixes.

Google Chrome for Metro is coming, to be ready in time for the big Windows 8 launch, and the latest Chrome update provides a few more improvements on this front.
