The Glympse iOS app touted by its developers as “the easiest way to safely share your location with someone in real time” sports a lot of usability improvements and feature enhancements in version 2.06, released this week.

Thanks to your valuable feedback as users of the application, Glympse now displays a ring showing location accuracy on the map screen. Additional info is always just a tap away in the Glympse Details pop-up, and the map now expands to full screen when in landscape mode – for drivers.

A trio of fixes is mentioned, including one regarding invalid addresses sometimes causing the app to crash. Another fix is included for profile pictures not displaying on Recents screen. Lastly, a bug that caused Facebook & Twitter Glympses to post multiple times has been addressed as well.

Glympse works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later.
