NVIDIA, one of the world's leading vendors of high-performance graphics cards and graphics solutions, has just released another Beta version of its latest GeForce and Ion drivers. The new 195.81 Beta release is pretty much similar to the previous WHQL-certified release, version 195.62, according to the release highlights. However, the new drivers will provide users with a couple of new features, including support for the new Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Beta 2.

As mentioned earlier, the new Beta drivers, available for download right here on Softpedia, are identical to the previous release, namely the 195.62 WHQL version. This essentially means that the new release will enable support for the chip maker's GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100 and 200-series of desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs. In addition, the new release also adds new SLI and multi-GPU profiles for the Avatar Demo, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Demo and Wings of Prey, namely some of the latest gaming titles available today.

NVIDIA's latest GeForce/Ion 195.81 Beta drive will also provide users with a fix concerning the 3D Vision display detection for CRT and DLP display. In addition, one of the most significant updates is the introduction of several bug fixes that will enable support for the new Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta 2 release. As you might have already found out, the new Flash 10.1 player enables users of certain GeForce products to take advantage of a better Flash video experience in the latest 720p and 1080p modes.

We have already tested the performance of NVIDIA's ION platform, using Flash 10.1 Beta 1, concluding that adding support for the GPU enables a better Flash video performance, even for low-powered systems like nettops and netbooks.
