The Santa Clara, California-based graphics chip maker NVIDIA has just updated its GeForce drivers support page with the introduction of a new series of Beta drivers. Coming in the form of the GeForce 195.39 Beta series of drivers, the new release offers support for the latest operating systems, including Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.

According to the release notes, the series of new Beta drivers delivers a number of new features, while also improving performance in several of the latest gaming applications, consequently providing the end-user with support for a better gaming experience.

At this time, the new release is still in beta stage, which basically means that the drivers haven't been run through the Windows Hardware Quality Labs testing to receive the WHQL seal of approval. Despite this, they should work just fine under Microsoft's popular operating systems. They also offer support for NVIDIA lines of GeForce graphics cards and GPUs, including the 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop cards and ION desktop GPUs.

According to the release notes of the new drivers, users will benefit from the added support for OpenCL for all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs, support for CUDA Toolkit 3.0 features and performance enhancements, but also from the SLI and multi-GPU support for some of the latest gaming applications, including Borderlands, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, G-Force, FIFA Soccer 2010, League of Legends: Clash of Fates, NHL 2009, Order of War, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, Race On, Star Trek: D-A-C. While on the topic of SLI support, users should also know the drivers offer improved performance for Champions: Online and Dragon Age: Origins.

In addition to all of the aforementioned features and added support, the new release includes over 200 bug fixes, according to the leading graphics chip maker. If you want to benefit from all the enhancements and features, be sure to click on the links below:
