The view of a blossoming garden is a great view, that’s for sure, especially when a multitude of colors fill the air. Regardless of the season, a live garden will always bring a state of tranquility to our minds.
However, flowers and plants that are part of a garden can prove incredibly beautiful from up-close as well, just as they would when enjoying the whole view of the place.
These live plants can present an impressive level of detail when looked upon closely, and the new Garden Macros
theme for Windows 7 shows that.
Coming from Duncan Lawler, the high-resolution imagery included in this theme will bring to your computer’s screen flowers reflected in drops of dew, close-ups of blossoms, and the like.

Oddly enough, these plants and flowers appear as impressive when frost took over them as well, just as they would when blooming in the spring.
The second new theme for Windows 7 devices, Frost Macros, will provide high-quality photos with leaves and blades of grass covered with frozen water.
“Everything in these photos by Duncan Lawler is coated in frost: leaves, reeds, blades of grass, all sheathed in an impossibly delicate crystalline veneer of ice. You’ll be amazed (and want cocoa),” Microsoft notes.
Both of these themes were released with support for Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions, and can be downloaded for free via the links below. Both of them should work just fine with Windows 8 Consumer Preview as well.
