If you enjoy group calling with friends, family, or colleagues on your iPhone/iPod/iPad, chances are you’ve got fring installed on your iOS device. Listen up, because the latest version has some tweaks that might matter to you.

Fring allows up to four people to talk, hang out, collaborate and even text, on a single screen.

In version 6.2.1, there’s a new setting to limit IP access to Wi-Fi connection only, and you can disable the country code correction in the dialer by selecting blue (none) country flag. You can use it to dial shortcodes and other special prefixes, according to fringland Ltd.

The new version also contains some bug fixes, so if your fring app has been acting up as of late, you might want to consider updating to the latest version.

Fring is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
