Brand new updates are available for two exciting iOS games today - World of Goo for iPad, by 2D Boy, and Tap Tap Revenge 4, from the folks at Tapulous, Inc.

World of Goo, an ingeniously-crafted puzzle platformer originating on desktop computers, is now available on Apple’s iPad.

Introduced in December, last year, the app is priced at $9.99, and is immediately available for download from Apple’s iTunes App Store. It is only compatible with the iPad.

[admark=1]Version 1.1 is a free update for existing players of the game, who will notice a significant improvement in performance, according to 2D Boy.

Usability improvements and bug fixes are also incorporated in this new release of World of Goo, the developer duo said.

Tap Tap Revenge 4, the latest major release in the Tap Tap series of music games for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, is now at version 4.0.2 delivering a fix for a common crash and unresponsive/offline Home screen, as well as improvements to tapper visibility.

Tap Tap Revenge 4 brings a whopping 100 songs and a revamped interface. These offerings, and others, are available completely free of charge.

The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
