14 DAY TRIAL // New personalization content is now available for download for fans of the Halo franchise that are also running Windows 7 on at least one of their computers.
Microsoft has released a fresh theme featuring amazing imagery from the latest iteration of Halo, allowing users to take a small portion of the gaming experience from their Xbox console to the PC.
This is the second Halo Reach theme pack that the software giant put together and shared with the world.
In addition to Halo Reach: Art Inspiration, which gamers were able to grab as of earlier this week, the Redmond company had already offered them the pain vanilla Halo: Reach theme pack.
Although essentially focused on the same game, the two themes are a tad different.
The Halo Reach theme, which could be downloaded as early as the first week of October 2010, offers images from the game, and in this regard, the Halo Reach: Art Inspiration content is more spectacular.
“Halo: Reach wasn’t built in a day. Peek into the game's creative process with this Windows 7 theme of concept images from the artists behind the latest Halo blockbuster,” reads the description of the theme pack.
The Halo Reach: Art Inspiration wallpapers do have a more artistic feel to them, as the official label of the theme implies.
There are a total of 13 background images packaged into this theme, and Halo fans are bound to love having them on their desktop.
In addition to the images, the Halo Reach: Art Inspiration also features a range of Windows sounds designed to bring even more of the gaming experience to Windows 7 machines.
Halo Reach was launched on September 14th, 2010 and is available exclusively on Xbox 360. For those that weren’t exactly keeping count, it’s the fourth installment of the gaming franchise, set up to be a prequel to the entire series.
