Download Free Windows 7 Best of Bing 4 Theme

Microsoft is now up to no less than eight Windows 7 themes featuring wallpapers that were used for the Bing home page background, and the company shows no signs of stopping.

The latest theme pack offered for download to users is the latest imagery package designed to celebrate the best that Bing has to offer.

Home page wallpapers for its search engine were introduced by the software giant for Live Search, but Windows 7 themes only feature references to the new brand for the company’s decision engine.

And not only is the Best of Bing 4 theme for Windows 7 the eight theme pack that Microsoft has put together advertising its search/decision engine, but it’ also the fourth best of Bing theme, if you don’t count releases such as best of Bing Japan and Australia.

“The best keeps getting better, with attention-grabbing landscapes, animal shots, and other eye-catching Bing images in this Windows 7 theme,” reads the description associated with the new theme.

Microsoft has been constantly updating the Windows Personalization Gallery, and fact is that Bing themes should get their own category by now, judging strictly by the volume of downloads provided by the software giant.

And more themes will follow. The Redmond company has recently launched a new photo contest designed to celebrate the release of Windows Live 2011, asking users in the US to send over relevant pictures of clouds to illustrate the company’s focus on the Cloud.

A few photos submitted for the competition will end up in a Bing theme which will subsequently be offered to Windows 7 users via the Windows Personalization Gallery.

Of course, Microsoft is not only updating the Windows Personalization Gallery but also Windows 7 Bing themes.

Bing Dynamic, a Windows 7 theme pack whose content is served through RSS is refreshed every week with new imagery.
