iPresentee is a group of professional and enthusiastic IT designers whose goal is to create high quality, easy to use, and fun add-ons for Apple's iWork and iLife applications. iPresentee has been building up an impressive portfolio of objects and templates for Mac users since 2007. New to the company's portfolio is a Valentine's Day-themed Mail Stationery package that includes sixteen templates. The package is free to download and install for all Mac users running OS X 10.5 Leopard.

“iPresentee added free Valentine’s Day Mail Stationery templates to be used with Apple’s Mail software,” reads an update on the company's web site. “Valentine's Day is a very special day indeed,” the post continues. “A day to share a loving message with your sweetheart. We have arranged terrific Valentine’s Day Mail Stationery templates, so that you could say 'Happy Valentine’s Day' using your Apple’s Mail software.”

As noted above, this new Mail Stationery package includes sixteen templates. However, the templates are hidden inside a disk image that needs to be downloaded and handled just like a regular program. As such (after downloading the package) click on the installer to start installing Valentine’s Day Mail Stationery and follow the instructions during the installation. You will need to restart the Mail application after the installer finished the update process to start using the new Valentine’s Day Mail Stationery.

The templates are there only to help you add a personal touch to a message by applying a stationery template. So, here's how you're supposed to use them:

1. In the New Message window, click Show Stationery. 2. To view the template choices, click a category, such as iPresentee. 3. To apply a template to your message, click its thumbnail. 4. When you decide on a template, you can click Hide Stationery to see more of your message. 5. To remove a template from your message, click the Original thumbnail in the Stationery category. Any text, images, or formatting that you had added are retained. 6. If you use a template often, you can add it to the Favorites category. Drag the thumbnail over the category list. To remove a favorite, select it and click Remove (x).   One thing users need to remember about Mail Stationery from iPresentee is that all files and folders on the Valentine’s Day Mail Stationery disk should be left unchanged for proper usage in the future.
