A powerful yet free document management app, Seembee, is now available to iOS device owners who wish to store and easily categorize and chronicle important notes, documents, receipts, scribblings, notations and transaction records.

Appsli Business Development launched Seembee with the purpose of taking the stress and worry out of document management, the developer said.

A developer that specializes in software applications for mobile platforms, Appsli says their app is designed to save folks from having to ever again clumsily search through kitchen and office drawers looking for misplaced documents.

Seembee allows users to upload snapshots, scanned documents or image files into a personalized web-based archive.

It would be unfair not to admit Seembee’s functionality resembles that of Evernote, but it’s just another intuitive application that gets the job done, whether it’s uploaded imagery, notation or audio.

Appsli explains, “[We] developed Seembee as a method of better keeping track of various small data documents (and even moments and thoughts) by designing one dedicated application with which items can be systematically chronicled and categorized and instantly accessed by users.”

“Notes, in the form of text or audio, can be attached to uploaded images to optimize storage/recall effectiveness,” the developer says.

“If you think about it this is a pretty big development, because with Seembee you can literally upload the important data in your life with each passing moment – in real-time,” an Appsli spokesman told Softpedia.

“This gives you freedom from the old process, which was essentially tossing these ‘small data documents’ into a random drawer and then cursing, three months (or three years…) later, when you can’t remember where you put them.”

Users can upload data to their personal online archive via Wi-Fi or 3G, convert documents into PDFs and send them by email, add titles, tags notes and add-on pages to uploaded documents etc.

Seembee is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
