14 DAY TRIAL // MeLLmo Inc., a provider of mobile applications designed to allow on-the-go business professionals to stay connected to critical company information, has announced full Roambi support for iOS 4.2, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. The update brings iPad users up to feature parity with the iPhone version of Roambi.

The app allows business men to easily view and interact with up-to-the-minute company information, which gives them the necessary insight for on-the-go analysis, impromptu presentations and smart decision-making, MeLLmo said.
The company advertises its iOS app saying “Roambi puts the pulse of your business, in the palm of your hand.”
Thanks to the newly added iOS 4.2 support, Roambi transforms data into interactive visual analytics empowering users to share and collaborate on the information directly from their Apple tablet, MeLLmo said.
“Taking advantage of new iOS 4.2 drag-and-drop capabilities, iPad users can now more easily organize the Roambi app on their device, while multi-tasking enhancements allow users to run Roambi in conjunction with other apps without sacrificing performance,” the company explains in a report issued earlier this week.
According to its makers, Roambi - Visualizer version 3.0.6 is designed for both iPhone and iPad, and extends new capabilities to iPad users, including:
Contextual Calendar Events: The collaboration option available for iOS 4.2 allows users to schedule a calendar event directly from a Roambi file, enabling the event invitation to be distributed with the Roambi mobile dashboard embedded for context.
SMS Sharing: Any user browsing a Roambi mobile dashboard with iOS 4.2 will have the option to send it to an individual or group of people via text message.
Multitasking: Roambi Pro and Roambi ES3 publishing services enable users to refresh their Roambi mobile dashboards on-the-go to ensure they have the most up-to-date information. Now, with iOS 4.2, users can choose to manually refresh their Roambi files in the background, while using other apps on their iPad.
