Office 2010 was released to manufacturing in April 2010. It took Microsoft a few months to get from RTM to the General Availability deadline. But, as of May, customers around the world can purchase Office 2010. At the same time, Microsoft is also offering trial releases of Office 2010 RTM available for download free of charge. Users can grab the time-bombed releases and test drive the suite before deciding whether to buy it or not.
