Customers embracing Office 2010 that needed a little help have been able to access migration guides from Microsoft free of charge for quite some time now.

The only caveat with the resources was the fact that they only came in English, and as such could be of use to those familiar with the language.

This is no longer the case, as of this week, the software giant has made available for download the Office 2010 migration guides in no less than 36 additional languages on top of English.

Just as it was the case with the original versions of the migration guides, the translated versions of the resources are focused on getting customers familiar with the new ribbon interface and let them explore the features in Access 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010, and Word 2010.

Of course, all of the new flavors of the Office 2010 migrations guides continue to be offered free of charge and users will be able to find download links at the bottom of this article.

“While these guides are particularly suitable for anyone upgrading from Office 2003 programs, most of the information is just as relevant for users switching from other previous versions.

“Each guide has 7-8 pages in total. You can zoom in on any page to get a closer look at any of the screenshots, or you can search for feature names and keywords to quickly find what you're looking for,” revealed Microsoft’s Michael C. Oldenburg.

Users will also find the download links for the free trial copies of Office 2010 below, and they can grab the bits and test drive the latest release of the productivity suite.

“The original guides were such a hit with our English-speaking audiences that we approached our international group about translating the guides into other languages that Microsoft Office 2010 supports.

“We've just received confirmation that the translated guides are now available in 36 additional Office languages. Our sincere thanks to the Office Localization team for making this happen,” Oldenburg added.

I have already installed Office 2010 in my system but the language (office-2010) has automatically changed from US English to Spanish. How can I change it or not?
