14 DAY TRIAL // Electronic Arts has just release the Mass Effect 3 Datapad application for iOS devices. Keep in mind that this is not a game “pre se” but a utility application that lets Mass Effect 3 players stay in touch with everything related to the game.
The application provides access to Mass Effect franchise’s entire Codex database, allowing users to learn more about the stories behind the characters that appear in the game.
In addition, the utility app allows users to deploy troops to the “Galaxy at War” map using fleet commander. This will increase the players’ chance of success against the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 single player mode and influences the Readiness Rating of the troops.
Exclusive photos and artwork are available as well, along with all the messages received in-game. Mass Effect 3 Datapad is the ultimate companion application for those who play Mass Effect 3.
The application is now available as a free download in the App Store and it should be fully compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad.
