Right after deploying the Back to Karkand downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3, Electronic Arts and DICE have just released a new batch of DLC, this time in the form of the Physical Warfare Pack, which was initially available only to those who pre-ordered the game.
Battlefield 3 won over millions of shooter fans from all over the world, and both DICE and EA, its developer and publisher, respectively, have tried to keep it relevant against the onslaught of other competitors, chief among which being Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Now, after the first full pledged DLC arrived earlier this month, the companies have released a new add-on, in the form of the Physical Warfare pack, which is now available as a free download for PlayStation 3 users.
Included in the pack are things like a DAO-12 shotgun as well as custom flechette ammo for it, a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle, and even a Type 88 Light Machine Gun.
While no date has been confirmed for them, PC and Xbox 360 owners can expect to the Physical Warfare pack for their copies of Battlefield 3 at the end of next week.
