Electronic Arts and DICE have just deployed the free Physical Warfare downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3 on the PC and Xbox 360 platforms, after already releasing it last week for the PlayStation 3 edition of the first person shooter.
Battlefield 3 impressed millions of gamers since its release in October so EA and DICE have worked hard to keep the interest in it alive by deploying new content like the impressive
Back to Karkand expansion, which arrived earlier this month.
Now, after being available only to those who pre-ordered the game, the Physical Warfare pack is being released for all players, completely free.
Included in the pack are things like a DAO-12 shotgun as well as custom flechette ammo for it, a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle, and even a Type 88 Light Machine Gun.
The DLC was already deployed onto the PS3 edition of Battlefield 3, as part of Sony’s exclusivity deal with EA, and is now available on the PC, via Origin, and on the Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live Marketplace, completely free.
