A new flavor of the Firefox for Android mobile browser is now available for download, namely 15.0.1, with a series of improvements over the previous versions. The new updated app release comes only a few weeks after the final flavor of Firefox 15 arrived in the Google Play Store.
The same as that
version, the updated app delivers a Native UI for tablets powered by Android, enabling faster startup and a new Awesome Bar.
The app offers users the possibility to import bookmarks and history from the stock browser in settings, while also providing support for desktop sites, which can be requested from the menu.
Various bugs were fixed in this release as well, yet a series of known issues that users will stumble upon when running the app on their handsets still exists.
