Mozilla continues to work on its Firefox Android mobile browser by delivering new updates to the beta version. The latest update brings even more improvements and a completely new user interface.

Aside from the new UI, the latest version of Firefox beta comes with Flash support and a new start page. Mozilla also decided to update the minimum system requirements and optimized the mobile browser to work well on Android 2.2 Froyo devices as well.

According to Mozilla, the latest update also introduces significant performance advancements, such as faster start-up and page load times, better text readability through font size inflation, and better touch responsiveness.

Firefox for Android 14 Beta is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 Froyo and up.
