Firefox, Mozilla's popular web browser, has just been updated to version 7.0, which brings several improvements and bug fixes.

Although the desktop version's change log is much longer than the Android iteration of the application, Firefox fans will probably be happy to enjoy any improvements added to the browser.

One of the most important enhancements regards the copy and paste system, which has been improved to offer a smoother experience.

Android users who prefer Mozilla's Firefox browser will now be able to copy any site content and paste it onto other apps, or even SMS and text fields.

Another interesting addition is the WebSockets API, which is a powerful tool for Web developers who are interesting in building responsive Web apps and sites.

Even though Mozilla's Firefox 7.0 list of changes is pretty short, the developers managed to fix loads of bugs that were discovered and reported in previous versions:

- Improved copy and paste: Copy any site content and paste to other applications, SMS, or text fields; - Built-in language detection on first run; - WebSockets API: Powerful tool for Web developers to build responsive Web apps and sites.

Some of the features that made the browser so popular among Android users include: the possibility to sync browser's history, bookmarks and passwords from any device, as well as option to install various add-ons.

In addition, Firefox users can enjoy the advantages of tabbed browsing at great speeds while on the move.

Social networking apps such as Twitter and Facebook are fully compatible with the browser and allows users to keep in touch with their friends.

Furthermore, Firefox for Android can be quickly and easily customized by downloading additional themes.

Firefox 7.0 for Android is available as a free download from Softpedia and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and higher.
