A new flavor of the Firefox for Android mobile browser is now available for download, namely version 2.1, which brings along a nice range of features, including Open Sans and Charis fonts for Web Content.

Furthermore, the new app iteration provides users with the ability to save media files on long tap, while also enabling them to access the recent history through long tap of back/forward buttons. The new Firefox 21 for Android arrives on devices with a polished user interface, based on Holo theme.

The application includes a series of graphics-related performance improvements too, as well as CSS -moz-user-select:none selection changed to improve compatibility with -webkit-user-select:none, the official release notes unveil.

Additionally, the software sports developer changes as well, including implemented Remote Profiling, integrated, Add-on SDK loader and API libraries into Firefox, and DOM/content implementation for <input type='time'>.
