Roughly a week after the first beta flavor of Firefox 20 for Android arrived on devices, a second beta release has been made available for download, with new features and some additional bug fixes packed inside.

Owners of Ice Cream Sandwich and newer devices will also see that the 'Quit' menu item is no longer available in the app, “to follow Android convention.”

To exit the application, simply hit the home or back button, and it will close. However, users will also be able to take advantage of the QuitNow add-on for increased control, Mozilla notes.

One of the appealing features that Mozilla packed inside Firefox 20 for Android was per-tab private browsing, along with the Gingerbread and Honeycomb support for H.264/AAC/MP3 hardware decoders.

Firefox 20 Beta 2 for Android can be found on this page in Google Play Store.
