Firefox for Android has just been updated in the Beta channel to Firefox 14 build 6, in line with the latest release of the browser for desktop platforms.

The application comes with a nice range of enhancements aimed at Android phones, such as support for Flash Player, a new user interface, and a new start page.

The new UI is part of Mozilla’s attempt to offer improved browsing capabilities on Android devices through adopting the native interface of the platform, thus offering faster load times and overall responsiveness.

The browser also offers better performance capabilities than before, and it can deliver an optimized experience on devices running under Android 2.2 or newer platform flavors through updated minimum requirements.

The new Firefox 14 Beta 6 for Android is available for download from Softpedia via this link. The stable release of the browser can be found there as well.
