Fedora Project, through Kevin Fenzi, has just announced a few minutes ago the immediate availability for download and testing of the Fedora 20 Alpha Linux operating system.

Dubbed Heisenbug, Fedora 20 Alpha brings exciting features and open source technologies, such as a preview of the upcoming GNOME 3.10 desktop environment, KDE 4.11, ARM as a primary architecture, NetworkManager improvements, cloud and virtualization improvements, Ruby on Rails 4.0, Perl 5.18, and much more.

Now that we've celebrated ten years of Fedora Linux, it is time to work hard and test this first Alpha release, so we can make Fedora 20 a stronger, stable and reliable Linux operating system.

Fedora 20 Alpha is distributed as Live DVD ISO images with separate GNOME, KDE, Xfce,  LXDE and MATE-Compiz editions, as well as an installable only DVD ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

Download Fedora 20 Alpha right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is an alpha version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
