In concert with the monthly patch cycle, Microsoft has also made available for download the February 2007 security Releases ISO image. The company revealed that the ISO-9660 CD image files will deliver all the security updates launched on February 13, 2007 via Windows Update.

A total of nine security bulletins out of the 12 available via WU can be downloaded as ISO images: MS07-013, MS07-005, MS07-012, MS07-011, MS07-009, MS07-007, MS07-006, MS07-008 and MS07-016. Depending on what components you will choose, the size of your download can vary from 168.7 MB to 2071.6 MB. However, the images contain only the security updates for Windows.

"These do not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. These CD images are intended for corporate administrators who manage large multinational organizations, who need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and who do not use an automated solution such as WSUS. Use these images to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time," revealed Microsoft.

This month, the Redmond Company has released a total of 12 security bulletins patching no less than 20 vulnerabilities across a range of products from Windows to Office, IE, and to its security solutions.

Via the February 2007 Security Releases ISO image, users will be able to patch Critical and important vulnerabilities in RichEdit, Step-by-Step Interactive Training, MFC, OLE Dialog, Data Access Components, Windows Image Acquisition Service, Windows Shell, and HTML Help ActiveX Control. Additionally, the ISO images also contain the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer.

The February 2007 Security and Critical Releases ISO Image was tested by Softpedia as being 100% Free and is available for download here.
