14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re using Facebook on your iPhone to share stories with others, the social network is letting you in on a little secret: starting with version 5.2, the iOS app lets you “share the best stories from your news feed with just one tap.”
According to the official release notes for Facebook 5.2, users on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad can now share links to re-post stories directly from their news feed with a single tap.
Users can now tag friends in any post, comment or photo, and use smileys, hearts and other emoji characters in messages.
Finally, Facebook iOS 5.2 also lets users sort their feed by tapping the button next to News Feed in the left sidebar.
Facebook 5.2 is compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad models that run iOS 4.3. The app is optimized for iPhone 5 as well.
