An updated flavor of the Facebook Messenger application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices.

The new application release comes only as a minor update when compared to the previously available iteration, as it sports only a series of bug fixes inside.

However, the same as before, the app will provide users with a fast and reliable means to stay in touch with their friends over the popular social networking website.

Users will be able to connect with other people without having to launch the Facebook application, and will also have the option to enjoy group chats, or send photos privately.

The app also allows them to share location, record voice messages, make free calls, and see what friends are online. Courtesy of notifications, they will be on top of new messages at all times.

You can find Facebook Messenger for Android 3.1.2 listed on Softpedia as well.
