Microsoft has made available for download a standalone version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Help. Offered free of charge via the Microsoft Download Center, Exchange Server 2010 Help is designed to streamline the adoption of the latest version of Exchange Server. According to Microsoft, the resource offered is designed to “help you plan, deploy and manage your Exchange 2010 organization.” Exch2010Help.exe is 14.7 MB in size and is designed to integrate seamlessly with all supported versions of Windows.

Microsoft launched Exchange Server 2010 in November 2009. The solution’s general availability was announced by Stephen Elop, president, Microsoft Business Division, during his keynote at Microsoft TechEd Europe 2009. Just a month ahead of GA, the Redmond company had released Exchange Server 2010 to manufacturing. In mid-December 2009, customers that had already migrated to version 2010 of Exchange Server received the first Update Rollup from Microsoft.

Of course, in addition to the standalone download, customers can access help content on Exchange Server 2010 online. Specifically, Microsoft has published Exchange Server 2010 help content on TechNet for the members of its IT community. However, for IT pros that want to be able to access the help for Exchange Server even in offline scenarios, the standalone download is the best choice.

At the same time, the software giant is also offering for download Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 2 Help. “The Exchange Server 2007 SP2 Help can help you in the day-to-day administration of Exchange. Use this information to guide you through Exchange Server 2007 SP2 features, tasks, and administration procedures,” Microsoft stated.

Customers that want to try Exchange Server 2010 before they buy it can grab a trial version of the product from Microsoft and start test-driving immediately. A free, 120-day software trial of Exchange Server 2010 is available for download.
