Uninstalling and reinstalling the app should resolve crashes on startup

Evernote, the popular cross-platform note-taking/syncing service, is getting a leg up on iOS devices with better PDF viewing, a Snippets view, new formatting options, and more.

iPhone and iPad owners using Evernote can now fire up a new Snippet view to quickly scan their notes, and there’s a new PDF Viewer with multi-page previews, the ability to search inside a PDF, two-page views on iPad (landscape mode), and new rotation lock options.

Formatting adds “Simplify Text” (to clean up web clips, for instance), and “Plain Text” (which converts any note into plain text).

Evernote Business users can set Offline Notebooks and view their company’s Business Library from their iPad. Other improvements are also listed in the release notes.

The developers apologize for a newly emerged crashing bug, promising to fix it in a future update. “In the meantime, uninstalling and reinstalling the app should resolve the issue,” says Evernote.
