The evad3rs have released yet another updated version of evasi0n, the newly-emerged jailbreak tool for iOS 6 supporting all iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch models.

Initially updated to version 1.1 to fix some nasty bugs, evasi0n is now at its third release with version 1.2 addressing a timezone issue: “Correct timezone issue in evasi0n binary if client fails to correct it,” reads the changelog.

The update also disables OTA (over-the-air) updates for people who don’t want to be nagged by Apple’s servers anymore.

Evasi0n 1.2 is compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 6.0 through 6.1.

Requirements include a Mac running Mac OS X (10.6 Snow Leopard minimum), a PC running Windows (XP minimum), or Linux (x86 / x86_64).
