Emsisoft has released Anti-Malware 7.0.0.25, a maintenance update for the package that includes stability and performance improvements.

Among the most significant modifications in this revision is improving the detection of ransomware threats in the behavior blocker module.

Also important is the cleaning of the signature database and consolidating it in order to lower the loading time and memory usage.

This improvement, along with adjusting the false positive filters for Bitdefender detections, is valid for the freshly updated Emergency Kit, too.

Stability issues addressed in this version refer to service connectivity and shutdown on Windows XP.

The developer has also announced that minor bug fixes and improvements have been integrated in the new revision, although there are no specific details.

Users with a valid Anti-Malware license should receive the changes automatically, through the update mechanism. You can also download the new revision from this link.
