14 DAY TRIAL // Just as it realest its scariest theme pack for Windows 7 yet, Microsoft also made available for download an absolutely electrifying theme. The Windows 7 Lightning theme is up for grabs via the Windows Personalization Gallery, where, along with a plethora of additional themes, it is offered free of charge.
As the theme’s official label implies, the theme contains a collection of imagery depicting lightening.
By downloading and installing the content on their Windows 7 computers, users will have the chance of putting some breathtaking wallpapers depicting this beautiful but deadly natural phenomenon as background images.
However, Microsoft could have made this theme even better. On several occasions, the software giant went the extra mile and provided full themes for Windows 7, containing now just a collection of images, but also a set of sounds.
I feel like this theme could have had a more powerful kick if the lightening wallpapers would have been accompanied by a thunder sound scheme for the operating system.
Still, the theme is more than worth a download and a try. The imagery freezes in time glimpses that the naked eye misses.
