It’s been a while since we’ve seen an update for Dropbox, but the wait is over as the company released a new build for the Experimental version of the client.

The new revision is 2.3.19 and it brings to the table a couple of fixes and some improvements. As far as the latter is concerned, the developer announced that the application is now capable of better handling of event names with non-filename characters.

The repairs available in this release address issues with iPhoto importing and photo times. The application would hang during the import process although the progress bar would still be visible to the user. Also, with older versions of iPhoto, the times of the pictures would be incorrect.
