Development for the experimental version for Dropbox reached build 2.1.12, which brings to the table mostly repairs. However, the developer also announced that the client now leaves 100MB of hard disk space instead of 10MB.

One of the fixes included in this revision addresses an issue with the jewel notification icon. More significant problems eliminated in Dropbox Experimental 2.1.12 touch occurred when the disk space would run low and when deleting shared folders.

Another repair refers to a glitch that manifested after moving the Dropbox folder. There are no specifics available, though.

The stable version for the Dropbox client also received an update recently, to build 2.0.8. It eliminated a bug (on Windows) that caused the tray popup to be positioned incorrectly in a multi-monitor computer setup.

Another quirk prevented Dropbox from dismissing the tray popup when closing.
