Dropbox Inc. is out with a new version of its desktop client fixing the usual bugs with an “Experimental” 2.5.39 build for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.

Dropbox 2.5.39 Experimental includes new translations for 2.5.x strings and fixes bugs in the Windows installer, with no specific description of the respective flaws.

An issue that prevented screenshot management (renaming and deleting images) has been addressed, alongside an issue with context menus in Selective Sync, and a problem that can caused files with ResourceForks to be improperly reconstructed.

Other minor fixes are also included in this Experimental (beta) release. The latest Final version of Dropbox is 2.4.7, and you can grab both builds at the links below.

Released on November 9, Dropbox 2.4.7 (Final) fixed a rare hang when syncing files with finder comments, and included various other fixes.
