After releasing just one X79-based motherboard despite way greater expectations, it seems like the new Intel chipsets are way more favored by Biostar.

Here’s our first drivers listing for the new range of Biostar motherboards, the TZ77XE4, suffixed Ver. 5.x. This board works with CPUs in the 3rd Core generation, but after a BIOS/ firmware update, you'll be able to use both the SandyBridge and the IvyBridge processors.

When it comes to gaming graphics for which the CPU-integrated HD graphics chip is no longer enough, the Biostar TZ77XE4 looks very promising as it boasts support for both Nvidia SLI and AMD CrossFireX configurations, letting you choose the preferred video card array.

With 32 GB of DDR3 support thanks to the 4 Dual-Channel slots, the TZ77XE4 can easily become a no-nonsense tool for both serious gaming or productivity, while up-to-date data transfer speeds are ensured by the presence of 6Gb/s SATA3 connectors and USB 3.0 ports.

HD 8-channel audio is delivered by the THX-compatible Realtek ALC898 chip ready for Blu-ray soundtracks, while the Virtu MVP utility and the heap of other bundled tweaking software will let you enjoy your new computer even more.
