It seems like Asrock has been quite busy during the last months as new boards are being released these days.

Today we bring you PV530A and PV530A-ITX, two motherboards equipped with VIA processors and of course, sporting VIA chipsets, designed for various applications where a small computer is needed, but no state-of-the-art specs are mandatory.

As their names clearly state it, both boards come loaded with the VIA PV530 CPU and can accommodate up to 4Gb of RAM. While the PV530A has a DDR3 slot and two DDR2 (800 MHz) ones, the newer, more powerful PV530A-ITX will only run with DDR3 @ 1066 Mhz.

Both boards are equipped with VIA's Chrome9 HD graphics adapter, sharing a maximum of 512MB of memory and running DX9. The audio chip comes from VIA, as well: the 5.1 channels HD VT1705 codec.

Nothing much to write home about these boards, since they're created for office jobs and the like. Nevertheless, you can boost the overall performance for these boards using Asrock's proprietary XFast LAN and XFast USB utilities.
