A new version of the already popular Dolphin Browser HD is now available for download for users of a mobile phone that runs under Google's Android operating system, namely Dolphin HD v4.5.1 beta.

The new release comes shortly after the company made available for download the final version of their Dolphin Browser HD v4.5, which came with a wide range of enhancements, fixes and user interface changes.

The new beta release of the mobile browser comes with the same UI as the previous flavor, but with even more performance optimizations included into the mix.

According to the company, the new Dolphin Browser HD beta version comes mainly with bug fixes, so as to ensure a better experience to all users.

“Although in this new beta version, we still keep the UI of last version, we never stop optimizing the performance of Dolphin HD. So the major change we have done in this beta is fixing other bugs,” the company announced.

They continue:

According to your feedback, the big two bugs we have fixed are:

1) when choosing “View image” in the context menu after holding on an image, the original image does not show or open in a new tab; 2) the browser keeps forcing close when using some add-ons, such as using Tab Mix Plus to bookmark a tab.

Those Android users who are experiencing issues caused by either of the aforementioned bugs should head to the bottom of this article to download and install the latest release of the application.

Of course, the new Dolphin Browser HD 4.5.1 beta is available for all users interested in giving it a try. However, all users are encouraged to provide feedback on the browser, so that the company could fix any other issues with the application before releasing the final version.

“Another thing we need to claim here is that we decide to change the update cycle of Dolphin Mail from one week to a month. Hope you could continue sending us your feedback, let us make Dolphin Mail be more useful to you,” the company concluded.
