SoftSphere Technologies launched a beta release for their DefenseWall Personal Firewall recently.

The latest revision for the application is 3.22 beta and it fixes a few glitches that cut down on its functionality in some cases.

Users of Google Chrome experienced crashes of the web browser when it would be labeled as untrusted. This is not a normal behavior and the developer informed that the issue has been eliminated in DefenseWall Personal Firewall 3.22 beta.

Additional repairs regard problems with internal browser “Tab” and with untrusted Zoom Player application.

The developer also added a few improvements as far as performance of the firewall is concerned; however, there are no specifics available.

The application relies on sandboxing and virtual technologies in order to keep attacks at bay and there are no signatures involved, so no regular updates are necessary to increase its efficiency.
