Along with being fully Snow Leopard-compatible, Daylite 3.9.4 features minor bug fixes and a few small improvements, according to Ryan Cash writing over at the Marketcircle blog. Daylite is a business productivity manager offering support for project collaboration, shared calendars, task delegation, and sales tracking.

With the new version installed, you can now set up default reminders for tasks and appointments created in Daylite Touch, which minimizes user input when you’re out and about, according to the Marketcircle blog. “We’ve also added the ability to query ‘state reason’ and ‘salutation’ in Smart Lists – handy for creating lists of failed opportunities for ‘x’ reason, etc.,” the post reads. A full list of changes is also available, with enhancements for the Daylite Productivity Suite posted as follows:

- Added option to automatically apply default reminders for tasks and appointments created in Daylite Touch when synced into Daylite Server. - Added an alert that notifies the user when the last attempt to backup a personal database failed. - Added external merge keys for organization extra fields. - Added ability to put commas into phone numbers when the phone formatter is on. - Added option to disable reminders for tasks marked as Done. - Automatically disable a user's reminders when the user declines an accepted meeting. - Added State Reason as option for column view mode for opportunities. - Added the ability to query “State Reasons” on opportunities in Smart lists. - Added the ability to query “Salutations” in Smart lists. - Added an option in General Preferences to turn off type ahead searching.

For Daylite Server Admin users, Marketcircle has added the ability to specify the private address for use with VPN connections. The developer claims that admins will now be able to specify a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that can be used when clients are connected via VPN. Adding status for each offline in the offline list, as well as an Admin Email tab that can be configured to email the administrator about urgent issues, Daylite Server Admin has been improved a great deal since its last revision. Lastly, Marketcircle has added email alerts—currently for saved automatic backups. Daylite Server merely adds some additional error reporting during the database server startup.

Marketcircle is also preparing for its 1st Annual Partner Conference, which, according to the company’s blog, is already sold out. “The Partners conference should prove to be an amazing event – for both ourselves and our network of partners from across the globe,” the company states.
