Opera Software has released an updated version of its brand new iPad web browser, Coast. Version 1.12 brings more stability, as well as a specific fix for a flaw affecting edit mode in the home screen.

Coast 1.12 includes numerous bug fixes, which result in “stability improvements,” according to the developers. A bug causing the home screen edit mode to remain activated is also addressed.

For those who haven’t updated their Coast installation in a while, the new browser has been “tuned to run and look great on iOS 7,” and it even includes a 3D effect (much like Parallax in Apple’s own software). Also, web page position is now correctly restored when the user navigates the history.

Even though it’s fully compatible with iOS 7, Coast still only requires iOS 6.0 to run.
