Google has released Chromecast 1.3.0, an update to its free app for controlling online video on your TV.

The Chromecast app lets you control the dongle connected to your HDTV and, in Google’s own words, “Cast your favorites from YouTube, Netflix, Google Play Movies and Google Play Music and Chrome to your TV with the press of a button.”

Version 1.3.0 comes with a new user experience, according to the Mountain View search giant. Users will find that it’s easier to spot the latest iOS apps from chromecast.com/apps, according to the release notes.

If you’re new to Chromecast, Google has a quick help section built inside the app, showing you how to set up your Chromecast to work with your Wi-Fi network. Using the free app, you can also manage your Chromecast settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, changing the name of your device, and more.
