Google has just released a new version of Chrome Beta for Android devices. Although it does not contain major changes, the update brings lots of crash and bug fixes.

According to developers, “this release has a number of crash fixes as well as the following fixes”:

- Device vibrates constantly while scrolling with selected text; - NullPointerException in the tab switcher; - Chrome for Android should vibrate on long press.

However, there are still things that need to be ironed out, so Chrome Beta users should expect their browser to be affected by the following known issues:

- Hyperlinked images - tap highlight doesn't cover entire image; - [Tablets] First suggestion is auto selected when we scroll the window upward; - [Android] Mobile Gmail compose page email fields do not work with Swype 3.26.

You can now download Chrome Beta for Android 30.0.1599.50 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
