Owners of Android-based devices can now download and install an updated flavor of the Chrome Beta browser, currently up for grabs as version 34.0.1847.45.

As part of the new application iteration, users will be provided with a series of security and performance enhancements, as well as with various bug fixes, the changelog published on the Chrome Releases blog unveils.

One of these issues was related to the Tab Switcher, which resulted in tab stack view being broken on suspend/quit and re-launching the application.

Moreover, the new application release resolves a visual glitch in location bar during startup, as well as a bug with interaction of TopControls, which allowed for scrolling outside a page's bounds.

Although it resolves these issues, the application remains only a beta release for the time being, which means that there is still a series of bugs that might impact users’ experience with it.

In fact, Google notes that some of these bugs are already known, including one that results in a black background sometimes when opening new normal/incognito tabs. Also, users might see corrupted / blurry text in Tab Switcher, it seems.

Those who would like to have a look at the complete list of changes included in the new Chrome Beta for Android should head over to the SVN revision log.
