The new patch is already available to improve competitive rules and eSports mechanics

Infinity Ward has just rolled out a brand new update for Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox 360 console, bringing quite a few different improvements to the game and changes to different competitive rules, ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty championship.

Call of Duty: Ghosts continues to be plagued by problems, but Infinity Ward has decided to focus, for now, on changes to the competitive rules and the eSports mechanics, largely because of the upcoming championship.

Now, a new update has just gone live for the Xbox 360 platform, so check out the changelog below, via the official forums.

- Restrict Ghillie suits in competitive rules. - Restrict Tracker Sights in competitive rules. - Restrict Danger Close in competitive rules. - Disable third-person spectating in competitive Private Matches. - Add a kill feed to Broadcaster mode. - Address Broadcaster mode stability (squash crash bugs).

The new Call of Duty: Ghosts patch is available for download via Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 edition.
