There aren’t too many users to appeal to the services of PassMark’s BurnInTest application; but those that need a tool to stress a computer system for endurance, reliability and stability should know that a new build has just rolled out.

BurnInTest 7.0 Build 1005 corrects a crash bug on startup, which manifested when collecting GPT drive details on a system with more than one GPT partition. The new build also adds system information for newer DD3 RAM modules.

Thanks to tuning up the memory test allocation when run with the disk test, the latter no longer runs out of memory.

Along with the aforementioned modifications the new BurnInTest eliminates a very rare bug by correcting the CPU test if the frequency of the processor cannot be determined.

Minor logging fixes are also part of the suite of improvements brought to the table by the latest release of BurnInTest.
