Bullguard has just announced that its Internet Security 2013 security suite is now compatible with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.
The application has received several improvements, including firewall support for Modern apps to automatically allow the newly-installed programs to connect to the Internet.
In addition, the Windows 8 version comes with all security options available in the standard Windows package, which include a spam filter, parental control tools, online backup tools and a dedicated game mode.
As compared to Microsoft’s very own Security Essentials, Bullguard Internet Security 2013 has received AV-Test certification and has been approved by Microsoft for Windows 8 platforms.
Of course, the application is not available for free, but customers are required to pay $78 (€60) for a one-year license.
