2K Games has launched Borderlands Legends for iPhone and iPad. Licensed by Gearbox Software, the game has been designed specifically for iOS devices, combining action-RPG and strategy elements to achieve an awesome top-down tactical gameplay experience.

Players jump into the shoes of their favorite vault hunters from the original game (Brick, Mordecai, Lilith and Roland) to fend off hordes of Skags, Bandits, Psychos, Bruisers, and other foes.

Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, believes that the release of Borderlands Legends for iOS exemplifies the company’s commitment to take the franchise to new heights.

“By offering a high-quality Borderlands experience designed specifically for mobile devices, fans can immerse themselves in the world of Pandora no matter where they are,” said Hartmann.

The game requires iOS 4.3 or later and is compatible with most versions of the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
