Borderlands 2, an action-packed game that blends FPS and RPG elements, has been recently ported to the Mac by Aspyr Media. The game has already received a couple of updates, the latest of which dealing a blow to a save game bug.

In case you’ve been having problems with save game detection, Aspyr recommends that all Mac gamers install Borderlands 2 v1.3.3, a new version of the cel-shaded open world game.

In this new version “save games will now be detected properly,” according to the release notes.

If you haven’t updated your Borderlands 2 game at all since release, you’ll be glad to know that this update also delivers Mac to Mac co-op multiplayer with your Game Center Friends, and the ability to grab 5 awesome new content packs via in-app purchase (including access to a 5th playable character, the Mechromancer).
